This is the 'Bear Cliff Cabin', a new, 1232 square feet, luxury log cabin with Ponderosa pine floors & soaring 8/12 pitch roof, heavy Douglas fir beams and rafters, with 8 inch pine ceiling, all to be seen throughout! Large covered Porches with swings to view the forests & wildlife !!!
Wildlife abounds from whippoorwills, singing coyotes, hoot owls early and late evenings to cardinals, wrens, squirrels, 16 inch pileated wood peckers, lizards and box turtles, eagles and vultures always in the air.
Real Ponderosa Pine flooring goes completely through the cabin, with High-Beam views even the bathrooms! There are 8 inch t&g Pine walls throughout with no dry-wall! The only Log Chandelier, with candelabra lights of it's kind, is suspended by heavy black chains! See our other Luxury Log Cabin, here, the 'Deer Stand',
We, your hosts, actually live on the other end of the 20 acres!
The "Bird Sanctuary" surrounds our 2 cabins and has a Large In-ground Bird/Water Fountain and Log Bench Table for enjoying reading in the Forest & Bird Watching!.
Hike down to Table Rock Lake in about 15 minutes through old growth large Pine & Oak trees and back up to your Cabin in 40 minutes. This trip is very secluded! You WILL see wildlife!.
Notes:-
Ash trays/chairs on outside porch deck tables for smoking outside. Covered Porches/back swing are 8' x 44'. Inside Jacuzzi. Pets are welcome and $40. fee for entire stay.

Beautiful Cabin, furnished and decorated wonderfully. Cleaning was superb. Large back deck, with a swing and plenty of seating was just the quiet retreat we were looking for. I have to say that at first, we were worried that the location was not as secluded as we had hoped, but were very pleasantly surprised. The inside of the cabin is wonderful, but sitting out back was where we spent most of our time. The quiet, tranquil, time was as enjoyable as any cabin we have stayed in anywhere. From sitting in the back you are in a peaceful secluded area all on your own. The owners have done a great job with this cabin, and check in could not have been easier.

First, we had a conflict with our schedule and the owners were flexible in changing our dates for us. The cabin, inside and out, was immaculately clean! It was well stocked with supplies. The atmosphere was so peaceful and private. Thank you for a wonderful weekend get-away!
