A boat tour is a short trip in a relatively small boat taken for touristic reasons, typically starting and ending in the same place, and normally of a duration less than a day. This contrasts with river cruising, yacht cruising, and ocean cruising, in larger boats or cruise ships, for any number of days, with accommodation in cabins.

Roaring River State Park

Roaring River is known for its premier trout fishing. The river is stocked regularly by the park’s hatchery, which is managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Fishing licenses and tags are available in the park store (located at the intersection of Route F and Highway 112 - more information on their website), which also sells fishing equipment, tackle, camping supplies and groceries. Staff at the tackle shop can also provide tips on how to be successful for the current fishing conditions.

Top of the Rock

Experience an unforgettable two-and-a-half mile ride in an electric cart along the Top of the Rock Lost Canyon Nature Trail. Waterfalls, natural rock formations and covered Amish bridges dot the trek. From the welcome center, with the beauty of the trail as a guide, guests are steeped in adventure and history all the way to the breathtaking summit. The first place you'll stop as you meander along the nature trail is the awe-inspiring Top of the Rock Lost Canyon Cave. The centerpiece of the four-story cave are cascading waterfalls coupled with a cave bar serving up favorite beverages such as John L's Lemonade.

Dogwood Canyon

Had the pleasure of visiting Dogwood Canyon Nature Center near Lampe, Missouri. This is a beautiful nature preserve and the hike along the paved trail is awesome. If you love waterfalls this is definitely the place to go.
This is a very family friendly place that all can enjoy. There is a tram ride available and you can also ride bikes on the trail.

Sight & Sound Theatres

The 2,000-seat Sight & Sound Theatres – with locations both in Branson and Lancaster, Pennsylvania – is one of the top things to do in Branson. The theater has been called the "Christian Broadway" since it stages shows with Biblical themes. Some of the recent musicals include “Samson,” "Jonah," and "Miracle of Christmas." Billing itself as family-friendly, Branson's Sight & Sound outpost even has a glass-encased family room, which allows parents to care for young children and watch the performance on a TV without serving as a distraction to the audience.

Titanic Museum

When visitors enter the Titanic Museum, which is built to look like the actual ship, they're given a boarding pass with a real Titanic passenger's name on it. At the end of the self-guided tour – which winds through a recreated grand staircase and past more than 400 artifacts preserved from the sunken vessel – visitors see if the passenger on their ticket survived the infamous sinking.

Table Rock Lake

Table Rock Lake covers more than 50,000 acres, with nearly 800 miles of shoreline, in southwestern Missouri. Visitors enjoy the natural diversions of swimming, boating, fishing and even scuba diving at the lake, especially since they're so different than the rest of Branson's activities.

Recent travelers, which ranged from avid fishermen to families with young children, said Table Rock Lake is clean, peaceful and altogether lovely. The fishing, swimming and sunset cruises earn particular high praise among travelers.
